Troubleshoot Common Serial Number Problems for Adobe Acrobat X Pro 2012k

If you have received a message similar to the ones displayed below when trying to install your product, stating the serial number you are using is invalid, or has been revoked, it is because the serial number you are attempting to use has been blocked by Adobe.

serial number adobe acrobat x pro 2012k

Adobe blocks serial numbers that have not been issued by Adobe, or have been used fraudulently by unauthorized sellers to produce counterfeit software. Unfortunately, you may only know the serial number has been blocked for this reason when re-activating or reinstalling Adobe software.

Nishant K: I have checked with your previous cases and can see that you are already informed that the serial number has been revoked due to piracy issues.Bob C.: What do I need to do?Nishant K: Please contact the person who have purchased the product.Bob C.: Can you tell me who that was?Bob C.: I paid over 149.00 for the programNishant K: I understand your concern but as the serial number is no longer valid, I would suggest you to check with your resources to find the exact reason for the serial number to be revoked.Nishant K: The serial number is actually registered under a different name and email address than yours.

Solution 2 did nothing. Solution 3 prompted me to enter my Acrobat X Pro serial number. I entered my CS6 Master Collection serial number that was emailed to me by Adobe. It told me I have an incorrect serial number and would not allow me to continue.

I realize this may not work for all of us experiencing this problem but in my case, I re-entered my serial number and it stopped telling me it is a trial version. My trial version had indicated I had 32767 days available at one point. I have been "issue free" for 4 days now. No guarantee it will last until Adobe works out the bug but good so far.

Acrobat X Pro stopped working on my desktop (windows) machine in the last day or so, and while I was trying to figure out what to do about that I decided to uninstall CS5.5 since I had upgraded to CS6 a few weeks before and everything else seemed to be working nicely, except for this recent issue with Acrobat. Well, uninstalling CS5.5 also uninstalled Acrobat so I used my CS6 disc to reinstall it. Didn't have uninstall/reinstall the entire suite. I was asked to enter my current serial number and Acrobat X Pro seems to be working again.

Help I go through the deactivation and then the trial pop up menu says click on trial- after that nothing happens. I don't have an opportunity to reenter my serial number so now I have a trial that I paid for that will only last 30 days!! I am a grad student with reviews on Friday how am I supposed to work- all my files have to pdf files.

I'm not sure what the current situation is with CS6, but there was a limit on the number of times you could deactivate and reactivate your copy of creative suite, so this kind of nonsense could stuff you up pretty quickly if you use the same copy on your PC and laptop and they both have to be deativated and reactivated. My first CS6 acrobat X copy has bitten the dust, and I'm now waiting for the rest of the installs on our site to go down. Thanks adobe, I'm so pleased I upgraded all my working copies of CS5.5 to the fantasticly broken CS6.

We order Dell computers with Acrobat X Std and Office 2010 pre-installed. We do not get media, but we do get the serial numbers on cards with each PC. We create an image of a PC the way we want it with our most commonly used programs, settings and customization. We use Windows 7 sysprep with a unattended.xml answer file and some scripts when we are done. When this is finished we image the machine and deploy it on others so everything starts with the same configuration. When the PC is freshly imaged all we have to do is name it (we use our asset tag) and join it to the domain. Then we go into appwiz.cpl (add/remove programs) and click on Microsoft Office 2010, then the change button then choose enter a product key. We enter the key from the card that shipped with the physical computer.

We are legit and pay extra per PC to Dell so we get the software license code on a card, as we do with Office. I just want to ensure that everything is kosher. I know that sometimes after a PC is deployed, in a few days or weeks we may get a tech support call where the user has an Adobe Acrobat duplicate license detected screen. We remote on and just enter the new serial number from the proper key card we got from Dell. But I want to head this off at the pass here and ensure the licensing is working at deployment so we don\u2019t have to take these calls a few days or weeks later.Any idea where the change product key is? I tried the change function in appwiz.cpl but it looked like it would just take me to a reinstaller. It\u2019s important that it does not mess with settings because I need one of our servers in the enhanced security trusted site area, as well as Topaz.GemPlus in our default signing, and a few other settings that carried over from us customizing it under the local Administrator and then setting the CopyProfile=True flag in unattended.xml answer file prior to sysprep.","isUseLiaRichMedia":false,"autoTitleLink":" _0.form.messageeditor.tinymceeditor:getautotitle?t:ac=board-id/enterprise-and-teams/thread-id/2142","isGteEditorV2":true,"linkTooltipTexts":"bareURL":"Bare URL","unlink":"Unlink","openLink":"Open link","autoTitle":"Auto-title","elementSelector":"#tinyMceEditor_10c4386e8020528","preLoadedAddOnAssetUrls":["/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/themes/modern/theme.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/lists/plugin.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/compat3x/plugin.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/image/plugin.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/link/plugin.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/textcolor/plugin.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/table/plugin.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/tabfocus/plugin.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/paste/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/spoiler/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/spoiler/langs/en.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/insertcode/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/insertcode/langs/en.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/advlist/plugin.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/autolink/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/liarichmedia/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/liarichmedia/langs/en.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/liaexpandtoolbar/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/liaexpandtoolbar/langs/en.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/codesample/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/liaquote/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/liaquote/langs/en.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/liamacros/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/liamacros/langs/en.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/liafullscreendone/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/liafullscreendone/langs/en.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/code/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/mentions/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/mentions/langs/en.js","/html/js/lib/tinymce/4.7.13/plugins/noneditable/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/plugin.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/langs/en.js","/plugin/editors/tinymce/plugins/spellchecker/plugin.js"],"isOoyalaVideoEnabled":false,"isInlineLinkEditingEnabled":true,"optionsParam":"messageMentionTemplate":"#title","spellcheckerUrl":"/spellchecker/lucene","useUserMentions":true,"toolbarSelector":".mce-toolbar-grp","useProductMentions":false,"mediaUploadOptions":"attachmentOverlayText":"Drop your files here","createVideoLink":" _0.form.messageeditor.tinymceeditor:createvideo?t:ac=board-id/enterprise-and-teams/thread-id/2142","imageUploadSettings":"validImageExts":"*.jpg;*.JPG;*.jpeg;*.JPEG;*.gif;*.GIF;*.png;*.PNG","maxFileBytes":10264576,"maxImagesPerUpload":10,"editorOverlayText":"Drop your media files here","copyPasteSettings":"copyPasteEvent":"LITHIUM:liaCopyPasteImages","copyPasteBatchSize":3,"copyPasteCss":"lia-copypaste-placeholder","username":"Deleted User","videoImageTooltip":"\"Please wait while we upload and process your video.
